i came out to my family around this time two years ago, and they’ve been surprisingly cool about it considering how dedicated they are to the christian faith. they probably think it’s just a phase, but i don’t actually mind, since they’re being nice about it.

also my girlfriend was invited to the family reunion??? which is surprising (especially since it’s not really my family reunion. it’s my uncle’s wife’s family, who i’m not blood related to) but incredibly nice of them and i’m really grateful that they’re being so supportive.
